Hello again. Well, another week has come and gone. And it was another good week. I guess after 17 years in this business I have learned to keep a lot of things to my self. As I sit here trying to think of something to write. In trucking there are a lot of things that I could complain about, but after awhile you get the idea there is no one lesseing and I just go on about my business. I do like trucking. It has been good to me for the most part. There have been good times and bad times, and at the end of the day you roll it all together and try to get some sleep, knowing that there is still another day to come and life goes on. So for this week I will just tell everyone out there who is reading this to try and have a good week, becareful on the road and take care of yourself.

While doing my normal run from Phoenix to Houston to Ft Worth and back to Phoenix, I find something that is a real pain in the rear end. Well, left rear corner that is. Why is it that when it comes to passing some people seam not to know how to pass. They race up to you and then just sit there. I'm keeping my truck in my lane. There really is no reason not to pass. But still they sit there, until I come up on slower traffic and have to slow down my self. At that point they will pass. By the time they do pass they have backed up traffic in the left lane. Now I know it will take me some time before I will get a chance to pass. If you are going to pass, then pass, don't just sit there. This goes for 4 wheelers and yes you truck drivers also. I have been behind other truckers in the left lane and have seen these drive go from 75 mph to 68 mph while passing. Once that have finished there pass and there are 1/2 mile passed what ever there were passing, they move back over to the right lane and then its time to speed up again. Whats with that? Like I said, if you are going to pass, then pass already. Don't just sit there thinking about it! MOVE IT!

Now that I got that off my chest I feel better now. As alway please be careful out there.

Well, I'm back at home one more time and all is well that ends well, or something like that. There was only one thing different about this run over the normal run. I did not go up to Ft Worth to load my backhaul. This time I went over to New Braunfels to load and head back to Phoenix. At least this time my back haul was lighter than my front haul. It was not as hot on this run as in the last couple of weeks. There was a real good rain showers from Ft Stockton all the way to Van Horn. Made it real nice and cool. That all for this weeks run. Well after doing my normal run this week there is not to much to write about. The weather is hot and very dry. I had 3 stops in Houston and 2 pickups in Ft Worth. All in all it was not a bad run. One of the good things about this run is you get used to some things, like drivers who act like stunt drivers, so not much has changed. After bening off this run for 3 weeks it was nice that the people I deal with normaly where glad to see me show up at there docks. At my first stop the reciver was so glad to see me that he asked not to do that again. In the 3 weeks that I was gone doing other runs, not one load was delivered on time. This is a good feeling to know that I doing that good of a job. Something that I don't here for the trucking company that I work for. Oh well that life. Now I'm back home and playing around with my computer. This is one of the things that I like doing on my time off. Until next well that care and be careful out there.

Well, today I have started my own blog, as if there are not enough of them out there. Maybe some might read it. OK, here we go.

Today I'm at home playing around with my computer, helping out the girl friend do some house work, not to much house work. Starting this blog. Oh yea, I said that already.

Tomorrow its back on the road for me. I should be back on my normal run. Phoenix, Houston, Fort Worth and back to Phoenix. You will forgive me if I don't add times and dates. Until next time, be safe out.
